music and some sounds by George Kouba, Jr.

CCA Website. It has levelsets, updates, and infos.

I'd like to send this one out to my men: Chris Murray, Amber Dagelish, Eric Wise, H E Butt,
Bolinger, Erin Peck, and Cody Atkins. And quit dissin me, Sara.

Freeware.
I'm pretty pressed for cash, but not tacky enough to ask for money for a game like CCA.
But if you do want to send me money or something good, go ahead. I live in Austin, Texas, USA.
I really like REGISTERED COPIES OF GAMES(FROM THE GAME'S CREATOR).
I'M TOO STUPID AND LAZY TO REGISTER THEM ANYWAYS, SO YOU MIGHT AS WELL.

I really just want some e-mail, I haven't gotten any for 2 days straight, so if you like the game,
e-mail me.

Chris Worden(me)
I thought up, wrote the code for, and made most of the graphics for the game.
Which is why it's so bad. Please e-mail me if you like CCA, so that I know at
least one person out of 40 billion does.

Ingemar Ragnemalm
He wrote the graphics/sprite management library(which this game is based on) known as Sprite Animation Toolkit.

George Kouba, Jr.
He made the impressive music for the game, for $1, and he doesn't even know me. Some sounds too. Oh, yeah, he did force me to convert to Satanism, but whatever.

ACTUAL INFO ABOUT THE GAME

How to play:
KILL
. And no, that isn't confetti, it's guts.

Here's what all those numbers at the bottom of a single player screen mean:
Streaks:
A streak, or winning streak, is the number of times that you kill your opponent,
in succession, without getting killed yourself.
Longest: This is the record high, and it doesn't change for each level until you
get the longest streak and enter your name.
Current Your current winning streak. Every time you kill your opponent, it
increases one. Every time he kills you, it resets to zero.
Game: Your highest winning streak in the current battle. It can only increase
with your winning streak; it never resets to zero, unless you restart the level.

The preferences menu:

Points to win: In multiplayer levels that contain king of the hill boxes or chino dolls,
this is the number of points a player has to attain to win the battle.
Note: In every level, it is always possible to win by killing the other player until
he/she has no lives left.

Other Stuff: Bah.

There is also another preferences menu, but I'm too lazy to write about it.

Command keys during gameplay:

esc:
daring escape from the current battle
sorry, no more.

Objects in various levels:

Chino dolls and King of the Hill boxes:
These increment the player's score, when he/she either grabs a chino doll
or stands in a King of the Hill box.

All the Rest:
Bah.

System Requirements:
€680x0 or Power PC
€System 7.5 or later
€800k of free hard disk space
€640x480 monitor supporting 256 colors
€5 free megabytes of RAM
€QuickTime v2.0 + QT Musical Instruments(for music)

I know the computerized opponent isn't very intelligent, but good help is
so hard to find these days.

END OF INFO SECTION ABOUT THE GAME

Disclaimer:
I make no promises in how this so called "game" will perform. The above statements are
properties that I would imagine the program would have, under controlled circumstances.
I don't know of any problems that the game may give you, but they may still exist,
so by using the game, you waive the right to sue me for any damage to or loss of information, money,
property, or dignity.

Distribution:
Please
distribute the game all you want, but keep all the docs with it, namely this.
Don't modify it. I know you want to make CCA have turtles instead of commandos, but just don't.
If you distribute it on a CD or something similar, get my permission(written, that is).
