Teach! Lite

Teach! Lite program is the freeware derivative of the commercial program Teach! Pro.

Both programs bring simple but powerful multimedia authoring facilities to a wide audience of users and designers, but especially to teachers and school students.

Teach! makes multimedia authoring fun, and the construction of educational courseware easy. The secret of its power lies in its innovative authoring environment. No programming, scripting or icon flows - just a simple, intuitive point-and-click visual interface.

Teach! Lite can be used not only to run Teach! projects, but also to create them. To do this you require a (free) registration code from Acrux Software. Details on web page: <http://www.acruxsoft.com/teach/lite_registration.html>

Teach! Lite can be converted to Teach! Pro by payment of a registration fee. If you've already downloaded or obtained the online guides, then no further downloads are required. You can, of course, also order the complete package on CD. Teach! Pro offers more than double the number of "objects" available in Teach! Lite, has no restrictions on project size (100 pages in Teach! Lite), full and advanced design levels (only basic in Teach! Lite) etc. Furthermore you can use it to generate "standalone" multimedia applications which can be distributed royalty-free for non-commercial purposes. * System 7.5 or later, Mac OS 8.5 recommended
* 4 Mb free RAM, 6 Mb or greater preferred
* 14" (640x480 pixels) color monitor, or larger
* QuickTime® , version 3 preferred
* Speech manager extension recommended

Teach! Lite is a freely distributable, copyrighted program, otherwise known as "freeware". It is however not "public domain". Acrux Software reserves all rights. Teach! Lite cannot be sold, either by itself or in combination with any other product, without the express written permission of Acrux Software.

The Teach! Lite package may be included in a CD-ROM or floppy disc collection and may be distributed electronically PROVIDED THAT THE ENTIRE ORIGINAL PACKAGE IS INCLUDED.

Attention CD-ROM vendors: we're more than happy for you to include our software on your CD's. Please download and install this (larger) package which we provide specially for this purpose:
